Dear esteemed reader,
It is my great pleasure to welcome you to this platform in your effort to know more about St. Agnes Junior School- Kisugu.
St. Agnes is a co- educational Nursery and Primary day and Boarding school located in Makindye Division along Muwayire Road, Kisugu near International Hospital Kampala- Uganda.
St. Agnes is a multicultural and multiracial school offering a holistic educational experience in a very conducive environment. We have small class sizes that enable personal interaction between each child and the teacher as each child matters.
The school boasts of a wide range of modern facilities including computer lab, Library, sickbay and outdoor facilities like basketball pitch, volley ball court and spacious compound.
We have an excellent co-curricular programme with different sports like boy’s and girls’ football and basketball, tennis, swimming, skating and clubs like debate, computer, music, ballet, home economics, community service, scripture union among others. The school emphasizes academic, social, emotional and physical development of each child.
With dedicated, professional and passionate educationists, the school offers a national curriculum (UNEB) using international and integrated methods/ approaches to teaching and learning. All UNEB PLE examinable subjects are offered as well as ICT, Kiswahili, French and Music in order to nurture global citizens of the 21st Century that are confident, inquirers, risk takers, balanced, communicators with respect to ethnic and international cultural diversity.

School Parent Engagements
We engage our parents all the time so that they move on the same pace with the school.
We have a strong Parent Teacher Association for the Primary and a strong Centre Management committee for our ECD section.
Parents are regularly following on the progress of learners using the Student led conferences that are organized from time to time.
